Documentation
=============

The documentation included with the PSDK QNX SDK is specific to the PSDK QNX |dev_platform| package and for SDP |qnx_sdp_short_version|.

PSDK RTOS |dev_platform| package documentation (:ref:`psdk_rtos_components_|dev_platform|`) must also be referenced, for full understanding of PSDK QNX |dev_platform| support.

PSDK QNX |dev_platform| Features
=================================

.. NOTE::

   * Reference PSDK RTOS |dev_platform| package documentation (|psdk_rtos_user_guide|) for an extensive list of new and current features supported by PSDK QNX + PSDK RTOS. This section lists only the features that are PSDK QNX |dev_platform| specific.
   * For features & drivers enabled by the QNX BSP, please refer to BSP Documentation or contact QNX.
   * This release is tested on Ubuntu (x86_64) 22.04 systems and may not work on earlier or later Ubuntu systems.
   * If using low-mem codec carveout prior to this release, please adjust your startup carveouts accordingly, as the TI configuration no longer provides this by default.

.. ifconfig:: QNX_SDP_VERSION in ('710')

   .. important::

      As of the PSDK QNX 11.0 release, the io-pkt networking stack is deprecated and the io-sock networking stack is the
      recommended stack for the |dev_platform| SoC. The io-pkt drivers will not be packaged with the SDK.
      This source will continue to be available if requested. To request access please reach out to your TI contact.

      For more details please refer to the developer note: :ref:`devnp_710_developer_note`

.. _release_notes_errata:

Errata
======

   * UDMA

       * i2431 - When receiving data from a PSIL/PDMA peripheral, EOP flag needs to be set in the each TR's configuration specific flag field and PDMA's X-Y FIFO Mode Static TR "Z" parameter should be set to non zero value in order for channel teardown to function properly and not cleanup the internal state memory. Otherwise it leads to channel lockups on subsequent runs. The PDMA Z count should also match the TR size, so that PDMA delineates each transfer as an individual packet.
       * i2234 - Non-triggered transfers need EOL_ICNT0 for sub-64B sizes
       * i2163 - Triggered transfers need trigger-type-specific EOL settings, (ICNT1_DEC → EOL_ICNT0, ICNT2_DEC → EOL_ICNT0_ICNT1, ICNT3_DEC → _ICNT1_ICNT2)
